The Porque Viven Foundation has accessed Bankia's Social Aid programme. The deputy general director, Amalia Blanco, the director of People, Juan Chozas and the director of Corporate Social Responsibility, David Menéndez, delivered the donations. In total, 64,140 euros have been donated to twelve projects presented by employees who are volunteers in NGOs throughout Spain. Thanks to this, we have received a donation of €4,000 when we were selected as one of the finalist Social Organizations. In addition, 877 Bankia workers have voted for our project, which means one euro more for each vote received. In total, Bankia has donated €4,877 to us.
The project we presented was to achieve a Children's Home in collaboration with Casa Belén, so that children can benefit from health care in their dependencies and relatives can enjoy a break.
