Madrid, February 10, 2025.- Losing a child is one of the most devastating experiences a person can face. A pain that never goes away, but that, with support, can be transformed into a path of adaptation and reconstruction.
With this premise, the Foundation because Live has launched a new Dueling Group , a therapeutic space where mothers and fathers can share their process with other families who have gone through the same thing and receive the accompaniment of psychologists specializing in grief and Pediatric Palliative Care .
An expert-led process
Grief is a natural process, but sometimes it becomes a challenge that exceeds the emotional resources of those who experience it. In order to provide effective support, this group will be guided by Aurora Martínez Monroy and Cristina Chis Conea, Psychologists Expert in Pediatric Grief Members of the EAPS of La Caixa Foundation in because they live. Both professionals will work with the participants in the Four tasks of mourning established by Worden's model:
