On Sunday, April 12, we celebrated in the Plaza del Real de Arévalo the III Solidarity Race Why They Live. The Arevalense have thrown themselves into the organization, thus guaranteeing its success. Organized by age, the participants toured the streets of the town. A first series of runners, the youngest, went around the Plaza del Real. Children between 6 and 11 years old ran a slightly longer circuit of 800 meters and from 12 years old the runners had to complete a distance of 5 km. The profits obtained will be used, after deducting the expenses of the organization of the event, to help children who require pediatric palliative care. The day passed in a joyful and festive atmosphere. There were prizes for all the small participants and in the higher categories the winners collected as a prize respectively a ham, a loin or a cheese that were very well received. From here we want to thank all the participants for their support, those who have made donations to the number 0, the sponsors, the City Council of Arévalo and especially the organizers who, for the third consecutive year, have dedicated their effort and affection so that everything goes as well as possible.
