On Friday, May 6, the Solidarity Day will be held at the French Lyceum in Madrid (Plaza del Liceo 1). Various activities will be organized. Among them the Solidarity Race in which high school students of different ages will participate. The profits obtained from it will go to four NGOs: The Porque Viven Foundation, Projet Niger, Cielo 133 Association and Caribú Foundation.
The Porque Viven Foundation has been one of those selected thanks to the great work of Maríe Camacho, a student at the Lycée Français and one of the best ambassadors of the Porque Viven Foundation. Maríe explained to her classmates at the Liceo her personal experience and what the work that the Porque Viven Foundation has carried out with her sister Elena during her illness has meant for her and her family.
On April 7 we attended the presentation of the race and the four chosen entities in the center's auditorium. Teresa Esteban, Marié and Elena's mother, thanked the students and teachers present on behalf of the Foundation, who had chosen us for the occasion and gave testimony of what the Why They Live Foundation has meant to her and her family.
We would like to thank the Camacho Esteban Family for the continuous support they show towards the Foundation and the interest they have in helping at all times.
