Through a donation of support products to facilitate the autonomy and mobility of people in a situation of dependency
Madrid, October 30, 2024.- The PORQUEVIVEN Foundation , committed to the comprehensive care and attention of children with incurable diseases and their families, has visited the facilities of Afamso Fuenlabrada. This Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients and other dementias in the Southwest of Madrid complements the support for people with dementia or cognitive impairment and their families as a whole, especially the figure of the main caregiver.
María Rodríguez, occupational therapist at the PORQUEVIVEN Foundation , has visited Afamso's facilities and has exchanged different opinions with Alejandro Romero , occupational therapist of the Association on the therapies and services provided at the center.
Collaboration for the benefit of the most vulnerable
During this visit, the occupational therapist of PORQUEVIVEN Foundation delivered a donation of essential support products for Facilitate mobility and improve autonomy of users of Afamso . The donation included walkers, wheelchairs and a swivel bathtub chair, which can be used both at the centre and at the beneficiaries' homes.
