"My work on the one hand consists of making visible the needs that families teach us and that sometimes society does not want to see. And on the other, to offer a space for understanding and professional accompaniment trying to respond to those aforementioned needs that will arise during the disease process."
"Accompanying a child in their home is much more than adapting spaces or providing materials: it is opening doors to autonomy, play and life. Occupational Therapy transforms homes into spaces full of possibilities, where each child can move, play and communicate according to their abilities."
"That the Foundation because Live and in our case, Alcora, help our son Andrea, it has meant for him a before and after in many of his pathologies such as muscle pain caused by his disease and especially the part of respiratory physiotherapy in times of crisis, such as flu and several respiratory viruses."
"In the Foundation because Live I feel that they are always looking out for us. They have lent us everything we have needed to take care of our son at home: an articulated bed, an anti-bedsore mattress, and now a crane that allows us to mobilize safely. We also participate in parent groups, where we can share doubts and concerns with other families who are experiencing similar situations. In addition, they support us with some administrative procedures that "resist" us. Knowing that we are not alone, that there is a team accompanying us at every step, changes everything."
