Bad News Communication Course

On December 3, a course on how to communicate bad news was held at the Simulation Center of the Niño Jesús Children's University Hospital. Intended for pediatricians, pediatric residents, Emergency Physicians, UCIP and Oncology.

The objective of this course was for participants to have practical training in communicating bad news. That they manage to obtain communication skills and emotional support. In addition, they are aware of the legislative and ethical framework in the doctor-patient relationship in terms of clinical information.

The attendees were able to face different situations in which they had to communicate information with a high emotional impact on the receiver. And then analyze how his performance has been.
